Wishes for good luck in the new year were given by all classes of people in Ancient Egypt, inscribed on the underside of a carved stone, glass or clay scarab. These are considered to be the earliest form of what we now send as a greeting card. The scarab was carved by hand into a linoleum block. “Good luck for the new year” was hand-lettered and printed with gold ink and deep letterpress impression. A2 size. Blank inside. Printed on 100% PCW recycled paper. Comes with kraft envelope.
