Just in time before the end of #celiacawarenessmonth — I’ve completed my print for the @escambografico international print exchange. (Let’s hope it makes it to Brazil before the deadline!)
I was diagnosed with celiac disease in December 2023, at age 45, after years (decades?) of missed symptoms. I had been reasonably healthy my whole life, and then out of nowhere, celiac disease. I feel betrayed by my body; these are the three things that are the biggest part of celiac: small intestines, genetics and white blood cells.
